Chitwan National Park, Nepal.

Chitwan National Park, Nepal.
Chitwan National Park is a wonderful place to visit in Nepal. Are you visiting to Napal? Do you want to see wildlife? Then the Chitwan National Park is the right place for you to visit. Actually Nepal has got 9 National Parks. I suggest the Chitwan National Park. Don't miss it. Keep reading to get some useful information about the park.

Brief information on Chitwan National Park.
From Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, you need to travel about 175 kilometers south side to reach a place called, Terai where the Chitwan National Park is situated. The parks covers about one thousand square kilometers. This national park was announced in 1973, from since it is a great tourist place for tourists who wish to experience wildlife.

Best ways to experience the park.
Mostly you would start your trip to Chitwan National Park from Kathmandu. My best suggestion is to get a package tour which includes river rafting and a stay at the park. Trisuli river flows near the park and it is the one where you go for a river rafting when you buy combined packages.

Trisuli river.
Boating in Trisuli river.
The river flows almost all the days in an year regardless of the season. If you have happened to visit in the monsoon season even, you will see few rapids in the river. This apparently gives you more quite floating and it is sure that you will get more enjoyment when the river rapids. But, be cautious about the rapids and it is advisable to go along with a guide. Probably you will be offered with guides when you book for a combined travel packages in most of the hotels.

Elephant ride.
Elephant Riding in Chitwan National Park.
It is more enjoyable to ride on the back of an elephant. You can see things from a height. Of course the elephant ride is the safest way to go in to the jungle. You know why I suggest the elephant ride? Tigers and Rhinos don't attack elephants. Of course there are rhinos and tigers in the jungle. You may spot some rhinos during your visit in to the jungle, but the tigers are seen rarely.

Dangers in the Chitwan National Park.
One of the danger in the park - Rhinos.
As I mentioned in the previous paragraph, there are tigers and rhinos in the jungle. Not only these two animals, there are other wild animals too. There are reports on animal attacks in the past and don't be the next in the list. It is advisable to hire a ranger when you go for a walk.

Be responsible.
The Chitwan National Park is listed in UN world heritage announcement. It is not the only reason to ask you to be responsible. It is sure to say that you will get such a good experience during the visit, but please don't hurt any animals in the park.

By visiting to the Chitwan National Park you help a hundreds of locals with their income.
